November 28 and 29 we were fortunate to have Sylvain Leroy from Paris Gourmet and Jean Francois Devineau from Ravifruit conduct two seminars in St. Thomas, USVI.  The first seminar was at the Ritz and the second in our kitchen. 

Although the material covered appeared simple there was wide application of their products and the ends results were contemporary, elegant and beautiful .  The attendees asked questions and were engaged.  As Siveen, who superbly organized these events, said at the end of the seminar the attendees are so grateful for the knowledge gained. Kunal, the pastry chef at the Ritz provided invaluable assistance throughout. 

Then it was onto French St. Martin, where Xavier Noel himself, visited the presentation, organized by our Xavier. Click here for coverage on the French paper. 28 different French Customers attended.

 

Followed was a seminar in English, on the Dutch Side at the new "Patagonia" restaurant, organized by Jeroen. 27 English-speaking customer were in attendance.Thanks to Marty Acevedo for helping to organize the St. Maarten events.
