Customer of the Month for November 2018: XO Bistro in St Thomas
Delicious top quality food, preparation and presentation. Outstanding service. That is what comes to mind after a visit to XO Bistro on the beautiful Caribbean island of St Thomas. Owner’s Cindy Gallant and Tony Merrill have been in business for 13 years serving locals and tourists delicious creations such as the Crab Topped Mahi and the Bacon Wrapped and Stuffed Chicken Breast. In the mood for just appetizers and a cocktail, try the Blackened Tuna and Baked Brie with crostini’s, apples, craisins and raspberry preserves. Come all dressed up or wear your beach attire! All are welcome to this upscale casual dining experience open for lunch and dinner. Chef Josh Millers’ creations will leave you wanting to come back time and time again to experience yet another amazing creation such as one of the incredible grilled flatbread pizzas such as the American Pie (w/sliced pepperoni, spicy Italian sausage, marinara and mozzarella) or the BBQ Pulled Pork (w/ slow roasted pork shoulder, maple bourbon barbeque sauce, red onions, bacon, jalapenos and mozzarella). And if that gets your taste buds excited, pick one of their delicious desserts and after dinner beverages from their full bar.
What makes this restaurant unique is the wonderful local following. “Everyone is welcome; children, locals, tourists. We cater to all!” And it shows as the restaurant is often packed. XO Bistro does take reservations and it is highly recommended that you do just that! In addition to their regular menu they do offer Happy Hour and Daily Specials.
When asked how they fared during last year’s storms, “We lost many parts of the roof including hood vents, AC Units, etc. and we were closed a little over a month.”
