1/4 Cup Hot Sauce
2 Tbsp Marukan Organic Apple Cider Vinegar
1/2 tsp Salt, divided
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp Garlic, minced
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
1 1/2 lb. Salmon
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
For Garnish Asparagus
For Garnish Green Onions, chopped
Place rack in the middle of the oven and preheat to 375ºF.
In a pan, combine hot sauce, Marukan Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, salt, brown sugar, minced garlic and onion powder. Cook over medium-low and simmer for about 9 minutes, stirring continuously. Remove from heat and cool, allowing the sauce to thicken.
Place salmon on a foil-lined baking sheet. Season with salt and black pepper. Brush sauce over the salmon and cover with foil. Bake for about 12 minutes, until cooked through. Uncover and add asparagus to the baking sheet. Place in the oven for another 2 minutes, until slightly crispy. Top with green onions and serve over rice. Enjoy!
