Since 1981, Roy’s Bayside Grill has been a landmark on the beautiful island of Anguilla. Beachside dining awaits you for breakfast, lunch and dinner in this English Pub Style restaurant. Owner Claire Lynch says her passion for opening this restaurant came from her Dad who moved from the U.K. as a restaurateur in England. Once they were on Anguilla they started the restaurant in Crocus Bay with a pub style menu featuring English food such as Fish & Chips and Yorkshire pudding. The business grew from there and they had the opportunity to buy their current location and they did! You can still enjoy Roy’s Famous Fish & Chips or feast on Lobster Pasta, Mahi-Mahi Creole, one of their Certified Angus Beef 8 oz. Burgers, or many other delectable menu items!
They, as many on their island, suffered structural damage to their roof and loss of product from their freezer as a result of Hurricane Irma last September. But they didn’t let the storm get them down and they were one of the first restaurants to reopen after the storm. They opened with no roof and a small menu. They immediately began to help the community as they distributed care packages and hot meals to those in need. Their care for their community, family, friends and guests is what is shown each and every day. “We are family, we love our customers. Relationships we have with customers last a lifetime” says Claire.
Roy’s is open 7 days a week and is located at Sandy Ground. They take reservations and guests can enjoy happy hour and daily specials. A beautiful gazebo on the beach can be used for that special private event. Enjoy LIVE music every Saturday night from 9pm to 11pm and Sunday afternoon from 1pm – 4pm.
