Celebrating 20 years this year, and catering to locals and tourists alike, Caribbean Steakhouse and Saloon is open from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. seven days a week serving up appetizers, lunch, dinner, desserts and spirits! Owner’s Frank & Terrie Pantusco feel that “consistency in a friendly atmosphere” is what has kept them in business. Chef David Hoffman has been there to serve you for 19 years…hence the “consistency” of appetizers and main dishes. If you have not seen their menu, it is massive with an extensive appetizer selection, classic favorites AND mouth watering Italian dishes that will make you think you are in Mama’s kitchen in Italy! (My personal favorite is Phil’s Meatball Calzone!) According to Terrie, “We are a bit of a chameleon. We are a restaurant but also offer a nightlife atmosphere late at night with anything from local musicians to stateside recording acts to games and entertaining adult activities. We are also well known as the BEST sportsbar on the island, boasting many huge screen TV’s and game events.”
We all know it has been a rough 10 months in St Thomas. Their building sustained a lot of roof damage and as a result, damage was done to refrigeration and A/C equipment, flooring and interior walls. They reopened a few weeks after the storm with a limited menu that slowly grew back over the following months. The power finally came back in December and they have continued to make improvements and plan to replace flooring and drywall as soon as the roof renovations are complete.
Caribbean Steakhouse will take reservation and can host private events.
