RumRunners has been a staple in the St Croix community for the past 17 years. The family run establishment is owned by Chris and Kristen McCullough and is situated right on the turquoise blue waters of the Caribbean. RumRunners is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day, plus Sunday Brunch and Happy Hour and it includes a separate Deck Bar. Chris and Kristen have been in the business for years and when asked why opening this business was their passion, they indicated that it was the opportunity to “live the dream”.
This upscale casual environment boasts an American cuisine with island favorites created by Chef Simon Bode. Chef Simon creates many of the menu items with fresh fish caught locally and incorporates daily specials to his menu each day. Dinner delicacies include Manchego Crusted Scallops, Caribbean Jerk Pork Tenderloin, and the RumRunner (Filet of Beef Tenderloin). Try one of their eight delectable panini’s which include the Hawaiian Hottie (Prosciutto, Pineapple, Tomato, and Provolone topped with Sriracha) and The Tony Soprano (Italian cold cuts, Provolone cheese, Italian dressing, Red Onions & Roasted Red Peppers). They even have a fresh lobster tank where, in season, you can pick out your favorite for Chef Simon to prepare especially for you!
