The island of Anguilla is famous for its extensive dining options along with its beautiful beaches and it’s welcoming local people. While it offers a wide range of elegant dining options in both independent restaurants and hotel and resort settings, there’s even more…

When visiting a new country or territory, most people enjoy “eating local” to taste the local cuisine and flavors. A great restaurant to get the true flavors of Anguilla is Cocono’s. Diane and several of her family members launched Cocono’s in 2002 after working in a number of well-known kitchens on the island throughout the years.

Cocono’s serves dishes that are similar to those served at any Anguillan family dinner table… Chicken fried, stewed, baked (on the bone), and grilled, stewed ribs, burgers, oxtail, fresh kingfish and snapper. The main courses are served with delectable sides including macaroni salad, French fries, plantains, rice and peas, steamed vegetables and more. Much of Cocono’s business is take out but dine-in is available and the portions will not disappoint!

Cocono’s will host private events and take reservations if needed. You can contact them and schedule birthday parties, weddings, family gatherings and other events.

Directions: Cocono’s is located on the left-hand side of the street as you drive down to Blowing Point. It’s just after the turn off to the Jeremiah Gumbs highway.

Hours: Monday-Saturday 11:30am-9:30pm, closed Sunday.
