Where do the locals go for great food and a casual atmosphere in a sports bar setting? Sharkey’s Bait Stand! Good Sports…Good Food is their motto. Chef’s Jaheme, Inez, Akim and Aisha serve up American and Tex- Mex from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., seven days a week. Owner Kelley McCormick wanted to open a restaurant that would appeal to families with children, sports enthusiasts, and one that would have a night time club atmosphere for the party crowd. And she has successfully created that combo.
EVERY night there is a special; Tuesday nights are Tex-Mex Tuesdays with $2 Tacos and $2.50 Margaritas. Wednesdays cater to families with BINGO starting at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays is Karaoke Fun Night offering your choice of burger and fries for only $8.50. And let’s not forget about watching your favorite NCAA team while enjoying not one but TWO Quarter Pound Cheeseburgers and Fries for only $8.50. Then come back on Sunday to watch your favorite NFL team while munching on 20 Wings for $15. Can’t choose which appetizer to try? Than satisfy that variety by ordering the Sampler Platter with Chips & Salsa, Wings, Fried Mushrooms, Jalapeno Poppers, Cheese Sticks and Onion Rings for only $16.50. Then enjoy a Salad, Build your own Burger, Wrap, or Sandwich with French Fries, Curly Fries, or Coleslaw! Looking for Tex-Mex, try their Fajitas, Tacos or Quesadillas. Sharkey’s Kids offers all of the kids favorites and don’t forget to leave room for dessert!
